She loves planning events for our members and for the community to bring everyone together to have a good time. Holli Gass
USAW Sports Performance Coach
Holli started cross training because she was ready for a new challenge and to challenge herself. Because of her athletic background, Holli was in need of a team environment and high intensity, performance driven exercise. Within 6 months of starting cross training she was competing in local competitions and credits her success to the coaches that kept her form and technique in check while pushing the intensity to the limits. She now coaches to give back what was given to her, and her goal is to provide the best coaching she possibly can. You can find Holli dancing around to Missy Elliott on the cross training floor or getting everyone pumped up during her cycling class. She enjoys getting everyone pumped up and ready to sweat during her high intensity 1 hour sweat sessions!
Melissa Buryta
USAW Sports Performance Coach
I started my cross training journey over 3 years ago as a trainee after becoming bored with my gym routine. I quickly realized my love for this sport and community and decided to further my education in order to train and help others reach their goals as well. I'm a USA weightlifting level 1 coach and certified in CPR/first aid. I'm new to motherhood and used cross training throughout my pregnancy to stay fit and healthy. I look at exercise as a priority, not an option. You can find me coaching cross training and boot camp, or attending one of the multiple classes we offer. When I'm not at the gym, I enjoy staying active with my husband and son - whether it's biking, kayaking, or just enjoying quality time outdoors.
Josh Lopez
This is Josh. He loves cleaning, jerking, cleaning and jerking, snatching, squatting, deadlifting, benching, pressing, and thruster-ing. HE also loves doing muscle-ups, walking on his hands (for short distances), rolling on foam, and swinging kettlebells. When hes not at the gym - and sometimes when he is - hes fond of tacos, early 90s east coast hip-hop, Howard Stern, yoga, his wife and four kids, basketball, and state assessments. Here is how you can tell if Josh maybe close by : (1) there’s a spot in the gym that looks like a crime scene consisting of sweat and chalk; (2) you catch a faint note of the flowery-est of language coming from someone with no shit on and the bottoms of his shorts tucked into his underwear; (3) children (maybe his, maybe not). Some of this is true. And some of this is kinda true. Nevertheless, he will be coaching the 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. (The last part is true.) Lets get after it and lift something heavy and do something you didn’t know you could do when you first walked in.
